Unwarranted Charge
I paid my June 2023 invoice on time, however Ann Taylor either never recieved it or it was sitting somewhere in the company offices.
I received constant calls asking for payment. After a while I reissued a check for payment in full and received an email from Ann Taylor thanking me for my payment.
I just received my July bill and i see i received a returned check charge.
I cancelled the original check at the behest of Ann Taylor and reissued a check.
I was told yesterday by customer service that I had a few more days to pay. Why did Ann Taylor harass me to pay early and cause me to cancel my original check and add insult to injury received a returned check charge.

Horrible Customer Service
Customer Service? Ann Taylor has gone full automated and instead of addressing my call I was immediately bombarded with tracking numbers and other gibberish via automated system yet my call was for a return label.
After the system allowed me to speak to a representative, I then was told to go to the website to create label. I explained I did not have a company at home The customer service representative, then began to ask me for my order number which I did not have. I guess he thinks there is no other way to look it up when I then interrupted with. Look it up by my email or telephone number.unbelievable!!!

Apparently, Ann Taylor needs to rethink the way they address this. I will not be shopping with them again for this very reason.
Awful Comenity experience
I have been locked out of my Comenity account for months because of a password issue. The Comenity voicemail is almost impossible to navigate because 1) 4 out of 5 times the call gets disconnected.
2) It is extremely difficult to get to a live person 3) The prompts are irrelevant to most customer service issues. Because I could not pay online as I was locked out of my account, I mailed a check FOUR days before the payment due date. It arrived one day after the payment due date and I was charged a $27 late fee. I called to get the fee removed, got disconnected twice, finally got a person who couldn't remove the fee and went to check with a manager and got disconnected again.
I did finally get the fee removed (a "one-time courtesy") after the fourth attempt. Then, when I asked for assistance getting back into my locked account, the "customer service representative" was unable to help me and was unable to refer me to anyone who could help. I tried a week later to gain access again through the "forgot password" feature, and I am still unable to access my account.
I love Ann Taylor and Loft (and can access those websites), but I will be closing my account and no longer shopping there. Too frustrating to have to deal with this kind of poor customer service when there are other stores out there that have it together.
